The technologies!


The shot blasting is an ecological system for the surface renovation, the treatment is dry and neutral, water and chemicals are not involved and it’s also pollution free thanks to the vacuum unit connected to the shot blasting machine.

The surface to be prepared is impacted and abraded by steel abrasive being propelled at high velocity.

The impact removes the soft surface parts and releases the pores of the surface from the possible intrusion of particulates, creating the roughness and the adhesion for subsequent toppings to be applied.

The micro spheres are recovered on the rebound, separated from the debris removed and returned into the work cycle, instead the dust and debris produced are extracted and stored in a dust drawer area thus avoiding pollution in the environment.

Different sizes of abrasive are available according to the surface to treat and the required level of abrasion.

Thanks to manometers, it is possible to control the advancement speed and the quantity of abrasive to be used.

After this treatment the surface is neutral and dry and it’s immediately ready for application of a new coating.

The grinding, wet or dry, is carried out with machine with contrarotating heads, predisposed for the application of vacuum units for aspiration of dust or water. The smaller discs, on which diamond tools are mounted, rotate at high speed in a direction while the bigger disc rotates more slowly in opposite direction. The type of action carried out from the smaller discs allows an elevated speed of intervention, getting as result a smooth and leveled surface.
GlThe tools for the grinding are made by diamond segments of different grit melted on metallic or resin base, diversified according to type of surface to treat and result that you want to get (from the coarse grinding and floor preparation to the grinding and polishing). For the good result of the treatment it’s important the sequence of use of the different tools series.
The system is ideal for he removal of resins, glue, varnishes and mortars, for the elimination of irregularity, for the grinding and polishing of parquet, marble, terrazzo, granite and concrete (HTC SUPERFLOORTM system).


Scarifying is a treatment that uses a rotating drum equipped with tungsten tipped or steel flails that scrape against the surface.
Scarifying machines are equipped with depth regulation device (1-3 mm) and predisposed for attachment of a dust collector.
This treatment is recommended for the removal of old coating, epoxy, asphalt, conglomerate or rust, roughening at the same time the surface in order to create the grip for the new coating.
Scarifying is suitable for the road marking removal in presence of high thickness of the paint or when the surface is very deteriorated and shot blasting becomes difficult because of formation of “grooves” along side the road markings or absence of rebound of the abrasive grit.


The milling is a technology for the removal of part of the flooring in concrete / asphalt or other materials, to the purpose of creating a new profile of the surface before performing the renovation of the flooring.

The milling is recommended for flooring renovation with lowering of high thickness of the original level (minimum 2 cm or more). For lower removal it is possible proceed to the renovation with other technologies less invasive (shot blasting, scarifying, bush hammering).


The bush hammering is a technology which has been developed for use in the restoration of concrete, asphalt, steel, red brick tile and other surfaces. The operation consists of the passage of a machine fitted with special tools rotating on a drum. These tools , mounted in an idle mode on rotating conveyor bars, graze the surface with the depth penetration adjusted by a special regulator. This system is particularly suitable for the recreation of a macro-textured surface while at the same time producing a rough and anti-slip surface.


The removal of horizontal markings on the road surface is of vital importance in terms of visibility and clarity for the driver. In addition removal of old paint markings serve for the proper conservation of the surface as the paints or the materials of which they are composed cause mini cracking in the surface. This eventually leads to infiltration of water, which in turn leads to the formation of larger cracks and deterioration.
It’s possible to remove the road marking both with shot blasting and scarifying.
The shot blasting &is recommended when the support is closed and solid or in concrete and the paint is low in thickness. The main characteristic obtained is that no “grooves” are created and the cleaning of the aggregates is practically total, without causing micro cracks on the same.
The scarifying is recommended when the surface is very deteriorated or the paint has a high thickness (thermoplastic paint). In these cases it’s necessary to remove the thickness of the stripe with a scarifier and then to continue with the shot blasting.
In situation of “self draining” bituminous conglomerate, the scarifying is recommended for the marking removal as the shot blasting is difficult for the excessive loss of the abrasive that lodges in the porous surface.


Removal of oil and grease deposits at toll booths is an important operation for the conservation of the flooring, both in concrete and in bituminous conglomerate.
By means of shot blasting, it is possible to clean these areas carefully without causing micro-cracks.
The intervention is done on a dry surface and without the use of chemical agents which are difficult to dispose of and create pollution.


The rubber deposits that form in the aircraft landing zones can result dangerous because they cancel out the effect produced by the micro and macro-structure. The waterproof rubbery surface becomes very slippery and encourages the phenomenon of aquaplaning, moreover the area covered by the rubber deposits undergoes alteration at water flow level and also encourages the formation of puddles that can create risks for the mechanical operation of the aircraft engines.
By means of shot blasting it is possible to completely eliminate the rubber deposits, restoring the surfaces to their ideal adhesion and roughness levels without causing alteration to the level surfaces.
The use of high yield machines, the perfect cleaning of the surface treated and the fast movement of the vehicles offer programming of operations that can easily fit in with airport operational requirements.


The same type of treatment is also suitable on the motor and go-kart racing tracks.


The Pettine Sonoro® &s an acoustic warning system that consists of cuts in the road surface which are made with scarifying machine.
This system is used for increasing the safety on the roads warning the drivers that they are approaching a danger or an obstacle.
The cuts are made in series of 6 channels, 4 cm wide, 1,8-2 cm deep, at a distance of 20 cm from each other. The block is repeated at a distance of 3 m from the first, then at 2 m and the last one at 1 m. The different spacing among the blocks gives the noisy sensation of approaching a danger.
This system has the advantage to be of maximum safety, being transversal to the direction of travel, it helps to decrease the "aquaplaning" effect, maintaining besides the balance of the car.
These cuts are developed on a dry surface, the operation is very fast, difficulties for traffic are reduced to a minimum and it’s possible to stop the operation and to open immediately the traffic.


TRIMMER Srl uses modern digital measuring equipment or the control of the floor flatness, both in the defined movement zones and in free movement floors, in the high density warehouse that use NA forklift trucks (Very Narrow Aisle), these forklifts trucks have to operate with minimum maneuvers and they must be able to position normalized pallets thin to a height of 15 mt.
Because of the limited space left among the shelves, these trucks have the necessity to be driven from automatic systems or mechanics along the corridors. These guidance solutions are rail system with double iron guide, or wire guidance lines opportunely installed in the flooring in the middle of the aisles. The warehousing systems with high shelves are normally installed on existing concrete flooring. In the case of surface is not sufficiently flat or however out of tolerance required by the manufacturers of forklift trucks, problems of management and movement are created; accordingly the flooring becomes essential factor for the efficiency, the productivity and the safety of the logistic system, over that the benefit for the employed personnel.
The survey data is displayed in a graphical format, giving a clear indication of the standard of floor flatness.
